TPA Referral Program
You bring the plans. We bring ERISA Title I fiduciary governance and aligned incentives.
A Practical Structure for TPAs
The Fiduciary Wise TPA Referral Program is designed for firms that want to offer clients independent, discretionary fiduciary governance under ERISA, without expanding their own fiduciary exposure.
We serve exclusively as:
- ERISA 402(a) Named Fiduciary (discretionary)
- ERISA 3(16) Plan Administrative Fiduciary (when needed)
This is the only work we do.
Built from a TPA Perspective
Fiduciary Wise was founded by a former TPA who understood the practical challenges:
- Increasing fiduciary scrutiny
- Blurred lines of responsibility
- Client expectations continuing to rise
- The need to stay compliant without overextending
This program is structured to address those realities directly without disrupting your existing service model.
Clear Roles. Clean Delegation.
You remain the TPA, and your existing advisors and recordkeepers remain in place. Fiduciary Wise integrates alongside your current structure, assuming ERISA Title I fiduciary responsibility as a discretionary 402(a) Named Fiduciary and, when appropriate, a 3(16) Plan Administrative Fiduciary. We perform all required services under these roles and provide documented fiduciary governance. No fiduciary exposure is pushed back to you or other service providers.
Qualified TPA Relationship
TPAs introducing a minimum of ten new plans annually may qualify for a structured relationship that includes:
- Disclosed marketing allowance
- Fair, straightforward non-compete agreement
- Ongoing support and training
The allowance is:
- Fully disclosed
- Structured and consistent
- Available for use at your discretion
