One of These Things is Not Like the Other!
Fiduciary Wise, in partnership with Bell Rock Capital, has released the third video in our new web series. Suitability vs. Fiduciary Standards is a great conversation starter and we hope to see you in the comment section!
Suitability is just…average. It’s a term used by non-fiduciaries in the financial industry that really means nothing to protecting the plan sponsor and plan fiduciaries but sounds important. The problem is, ERISA requires the plan sponsor and plan fiduciaries to meet “highest standards”, based on the common law of trusts.
Join Don and Jackie as the “Two Nerds” talk more about this in the latest episode below!
“Two Nerds” features Jackie Reeves, the Managing Director at Bell Rock Capital, a registered investment firm, and Don Jones, the Founder and a current partner at Fiduciary Wise, an ERISA Plan Fiduciary Firm. Both Jackie and Don were awarded a BCF™ (Board Certified Fiduciary™) designation from The Center for Board Certified Fiduciaries.
In the previous episode, Don and Jackie get nerdy about Risk Adjusted Return. Watch the previous episode the Fiduciary Wise YouTube channel once a month! Watch the latest episode below and don’t forget to like and subscribe to the channel.
